联合国:寨卡病毒与小头症有关

世界卫生组织表示,它怀疑蚊子传播的寨卡病毒和一种罕见的导致婴儿头部异常小的出生缺陷之间存在联系,但称目前为止的证据是间接的。
世卫组织发言人克里斯蒂安•林德梅尔表示,目前的“重大任务”是试图建立该病毒和小头症之间的联系。小头症涉及新生儿头部异常小,会影响大脑发育。
他说,联合国粮农组织计划星期四在日内瓦举行执行委员会会议期间就甲型h1n1流感病毒举行特别会议。他说,这种病毒与巴西近4000例小头症病例有关,萨尔瓦多、巴拿马、哥伦比亚和佛得角也有“大规模爆发”。
林德梅尔星期二对记者说,兹卡病例的“大幅增加”“让人有很多担忧的理由。”
